This song randomly came on again, and it once again just jogs different things within my head. There&#8217;s definitely a certain solace in the embrace of music and what it can do to you within the dim hours of the night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">In those quiet moments when everything is shrouded in darkness, the mind often becomes a battleground, wrestling with memories and desires long buried beneath the facade of daylight and the fronts that we&#8217;re trying to put up day-by-day just to get by&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Even for me, I haven&#8217;t really thought about dating, or even dated in awhile, but the song is still able to evoke feelings of sadness that I&#8217;ve had in my past relationships or even the what-if relationships that could have happened. The lyrics in general, are definitely feelings that I&#8217;ve had&#8230; and those lyrics with the addition of the soft instrumentals of the piano (and later the strings)&#8230;  it really paints a picture of a love lost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">So as the clock continues to tick and as the night stretches on, I&#8217;m happy to just listen to random music in the comfort knowing that even in the dead silence of the night, that I&#8217;m not alone.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>During another sleepless night, I&#8217;m just here laying down in bed listening to music.
