I remember hearing this song on YouTube for the first time years ago for the Korean version of Kimi Ni Todoke, and this was probably my most listened to song during when this was released till now.

The air-y and whimsical feel (especially since it has that stereotypical anime opening sound) to invoke a sense of nostalgia, along with the rock tones of the electric guitar solo in the middle of the song really make it stand out for me and just bleeds into my type of song more and more.

He’s also been releasing random covers with different artists as well, and I gotta say, even though I don’t dig Rei as a singer as much, her vocal tone kinda captures the shojo anime vibe the best.
