Because of Richard I started to play Pokemon Emerald again so this song came into mind. Although not my first Pokemon game (Pokemon Red!), this song is too awesome of a remix to pass up. I originally heard Hyper Potions when the Sonic Mania trailer was released, and was hooked. I found this on their discography, and fell in love once the drop hit.

I remember when I first got Pokemon Ruby, I still didn’t own a Gameboy Advance so I actually took my copy to my friend’s place or borrowed my friend’s GBA to play it. Even when I had Pokemon Red and Gold, I never had a Gameboy to play it on. I played it all on Pokemon Stadium 1 & 2 since my parents were very against me having a Gameboy because my eyesight was so poor.

Still, Pokemon brings back huge memories of when time was simpler; there were no responsibilities or cares, but instead grinding and training to be the very best. I still remember being one of the top in elementary school, until this one kid cheated/hacked the game and had a Wonderguard Spiritomb… freaking cheater.
